Questions we can actually answer
This hub is for QA outsourcing questions and the other things buyers ask before a call. Answers match the rest of the site. Deeper pages are linked. We will not invent rates, case-study savings, or a London office to fill a gap.

QA outsourcing
Most “software testing company” searches are a staffing question. These answers are the engagement-model ones.
What is QA outsourcing?
QA outsourcing means an external testing team designs, executes, and reports testing work against an agreed scope, instead of you hiring and managing that function in-house. It is not a black-box “we test everything” contract, and it is not a certificate.
How is QA outsourcing different from a dedicated QA team?
Outsourcing is execution against a defined slice. A dedicated QA team is named people in your ceremonies. If you need a person on the standup every day, use the dedicated model. If you need a scope owned and reported, use outsourcing.

How do managed testing, QA as a service, and a QA audit differ?
Managed testing is someone to run the QA program, not only tickets. QA as a service is burst coverage around a named release. A QA audit is diagnosis when you cannot say what is untested. Do not buy a ten-person team to answer a diagnosis question.

Can we start with a small test cycle?
Yes. Many engagements start with one release or one product area so both sides can see the work before a longer arrangement. A first cycle that feels like a cold start every time is a failing engagement, whatever the label.
What do you need from us to start?
A working environment that matches what you intend to ship, a counterpart who can answer “is this a bug?”, access to the tracker and the build, and an honest date. We can work with incomplete documentation. We cannot work with no access.
Will testers use our Jira, GitHub, and Slack?
Yes. The point of outsourcing QA is to add coverage, not to introduce a parallel process you cannot see.
Is offshore QA a cheaper, lower-quality SKU?
No. Offshore QA describes geography: an Islamabad team, planned overlap with US and UK hours. The testing bar is the same as our other models. Cost follows scope, not a “cheap QA” product.
Cost and pricing
We do not publish a rate card. A number without scope is fiction.
Do you publish hourly rates or packages?
No. Software testing cost depends on scope, surfaces, duration, evidence bar, and access. Two products in the same industry can differ by an order of magnitude. We price after a consultation.
What is the cheapest honest way to start?
A QA audit if you do not know what is untested. QA as a service if you have a named release. Free templates on Resources if you only need the artefact shape. Filling those templates on a live product is the paid work.
AI and LLM testing
AI Quality is a workstream. Engagement models still live under Services.
Do you test AI and LLM products?
Yes, when those surfaces are in scope. The work measures answers, tool calls, retrieval, and safety — not only whether the page loaded. We do not benchmark foundation-model vendors.
What is the difference between LLM evaluation and AI red teaming?
LLM evaluation is structured scoring of how your product uses a model. Red teaming is adversarial probing for harm, jailbreaks, and policy failures. They are related and not the same job.
LLM evaluation · AI red teaming
Can AI testing sit inside QA outsourcing?
Yes. Outsourcing, a dedicated team, or managed testing can include AI Quality. The silo is the work, not a separate company.
UK buyers
UK search is a real buying path. It is not a London office.
Do you have a UK office or a UK company number?
No. Nexus Eclipse is a Pakistani company in Islamabad. We work with UK product teams remotely, with planned UK-hours overlap. We do not advertise a London office, Companies House number, or VAT as if we were UK-registered.
Do you sign off Equality Act or PSBAR compliance?
No. Accessibility testing discusses those as search and legal context. It is not a legal opinion and not a conformance certificate we do not hold.
Products
Three products we build. Not client case studies.
What products does Nexus Eclipse make?
AluRate Pro is live glazier and glass shop software on Google Play. RecBeam is a Chrome screen recorder in beta. MarqueeFlow is party and event rental software still in development.
Is RecBeam a Loom alternative?
For a Chrome recording with a private unlisted link and no account required to watch, that is the job RecBeam is built for. It is not a workplace-suite clone. RecBeam is in beta.
Is MarqueeFlow available now?
No. It is coming soon. Register interest through the contact form. Planned capabilities are bookings, customers, packages, schedules, and a mobile operations workflow — not a live download.
Proof we will not invent
If an RFP requires a pack of fake metrics, we are the wrong vendor.
Where are the case studies?
We have not published verified project write-ups with named outcomes. The case studies hub says that plainly. The only approved public quotes are Sean Hopkins (CUE Audio) and Noel Lovatt (Kafun Digital). They are testimonials, not case studies.
Do you hold HIPAA, PCI, SOC 2, or ISTQB stamps we can paste into an RFP?
We do not invent certifications, pass marks, or compliance stamps. Security testing on this site is QA-shaped work, not a pentest certificate. A consultation is scoped against your product and the risk you actually care about.
Company and contact
Who we are, and how to start a conversation.
Where is Nexus Eclipse based?
Islamabad, Pakistan. The legal name is Nexus Eclipse (Private) Limited, incorporated in 2024. The public brand started earlier: freelance QA in 2017, a remote team in 2019, the company name in 2021.
Do you work with teams outside Pakistan?
Yes. We work remotely with clients regardless of location, including teams in the United States and the United Kingdom.
How quickly will I hear back?
We aim to respond to every enquiry within one to two business days.
Do I need to know exactly what testing I need before I write?
No. Send the product URL (or a staging note), the next date that matters, and the failure you are trying to avoid. We will say whether the fit is an audit, a cycle, a seat — or that you should hire in-house instead.

Still deciding the model?
Send the product and the date that matters. We will say which engagement fits, or that we are the wrong vendor.
