Overlap hours, plainly

Async work still happens outside those hours — execution, evidence, written defects. The overlap is for questions, blockers, and “is this expected?” If your process requires a tester in every meeting at 9 a.m. local time with no compromise, hire locally.

What we will not do to win an offshore RFP

We will not bid a rate that implies unreviewed work. We will not hide that we are in Islamabad. We will not staff anonymous night-shift volume for a product we cannot learn. Cheap offshore QA that you cannot inspect is how you buy production incidents with a vendor to blame.

Offshore QA vs local hiring

Hiring locally is right when you need someone in the office, in a specific employment jurisdiction, or in every meeting at 9 a.m. local time without compromise. Offshore QA is right when the work is remote-first already — which most product QA is — and you want a stable team without a local recruiting cycle.

Do you only offer offshore QA, or onshore as well?

Delivery is from our Islamabad team. Client-side product and engineering stay where they are. We do not staff a US or UK office as the testing bench.

What timezones do you cover?

We plan overlap with US and UK working hours on a per-engagement basis. Exact windows depend on the squad’s standup time. Ask for that in the consultation rather than assuming 24/7.

Is offshore QA the same as QA outsourcing?

Offshore describes where the testers sit. Outsourcing describes the commercial model. Most offshore engagements at Nexus Eclipse are outsourcing or a dedicated team. QA outsourcing is the parent page for the model.

Will language be a problem?

Working language is English: tickets, reports, and calls. If a project needs another language for the product under test (localization), that is a scope item, not a given.

How do we compare this to hiring in-house?

Hire in-house when you need an employee on your entity. Use offshore QA when you need testing capacity and product knowledge without that hire. We will not pretend one is always cheaper; it depends on seniority, benefits, and how much management time you have.
