What actually drives the number
- Scope. One journey vs the whole platform.
- Surfaces. Web, mobile, API, database, and AI are different work.
- Duration. A two-week cycle vs a seat that lasts a quarter.
- Evidence bar. A short summary vs cases, an RTM, and CI automation.
- Access. Staging ready this week vs three weeks of environment archaeology.
Two products in the same industry can differ by an order of magnitude. That is why a public grid would be a lie.
Pick the model before you ask for a price
QA audit — diagnosis. Usually the smallest start when you cannot say what is untested.
QA as a service — a named release or burst.
QA outsourcing — execution against an agreed slice.

Do you publish a rate card?
No. Software testing cost depends on scope, surfaces, duration, and the engagement model. A number without that is fiction. We price after a consultation.
What is the cheapest way to start?
A QA audit if you do not know what is untested. QA as a service if you have a named release. Do not buy a ten-person team to answer a diagnosis question.
Is offshore cheaper because quality is lower?
No. Offshore QA describes geography (Islamabad team, US/UK hours overlap). The testing bar is the same as our other models. Cost follows scope, not a “cheap QA” SKU.
