AI Quality
AI-Powered Test Automation
Use AI inside the test process — generating candidates, triaging flakes, and drafting checks — without pretending a model can replace a maintained automation suite.
The problem
“AI test automation” is used for two different jobs. One is testing an AI product. That is AI testing services. This page is the other job: using models to help create or run tests for ordinary software.
Vendors promise that a model will write your suite and keep it green. What usually happens is a pile of generated cases nobody trusts, plus CI that still needs a human owner. We will not sell that fantasy.
What we will do
- Generate candidate cases from user stories, OpenAPI, or recorded flows — then a tester keeps, edits, or throws them away
- Suggest locators or assertions; a person still lands them in your framework
- Help triage flake logs and cluster failures
- Draft regression ideas after a release notes dump
The suite you keep still lives in test automation terms: Playwright, CI, ownership, and a list that gets shorter when it is noisy.
What we will not do
- Replace your CI with a chat window
- Claim “self-healing tests” as a guarantee
- Generate tests for an AI chatbot and call that this page — that is chatbot testing
- Invent coverage percentages
How an engagement looks
- See the current suite and the pain (slow authoring, flakes, no API tests)
- Pick one place a model might save time without owning the source of truth
- Trial it on a bounded area
- Keep only what a named person will maintain
This can sit under QA outsourcing or a dedicated QA team.
Deliverables
- A written rule: what the model may draft vs what must be human-reviewed
- Candidate tests that made it into your repo (if any)
- Notes on what we tried and discarded
Suitable for
Teams that already believe in automation and want a faster authoring loop — not teams hoping AI will create a QA department.
FAQs
Is this “AI testing”?
No. AI testing is QA for model-powered products. This page is AI in the test toolchain.
Which tools do you use?
Whatever you already run, plus model APIs where they help. We do not require a branded “AI testing platform,” and we do not claim partnerships.
